Katie O’Connor, an exceptionally talented violinist, began her training at the tender age of nine.
She subsequently went on to study music performance at the College of Music under the guidance of Brian McNamara and graduated with an honours music performance degree.
Katie works regularly with the RTE Concert Orchestra. As a classical violinist Katie has performed with Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras, Plácido Domingo & Kiri Te Kanawa.
No stranger to the Irish music scene, Katie has worked with bands such as: U2, The Frames, The Corrs and with Paddy Casey.
Internationally Katie has worked with Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Josh Groban and The Three Irish Tenors, touring Europe, The USA, Asia and Africa.
Katie is often asked to perform at high profile weddings, some of these include Michael Flatley and Brian McFadden. |
